Playing this game was a blast. The mechanics were quick to pick up and it made for an amazing one-shot game that we were able to complete in a single 2 hour session, including a short break.
I have run an after school TTRPG club with middle school students and this is the kind of game I'd use (along with Lasers & Feelings) to introduce students new to the hobby to game mechanics and role playing.
I have played this several times with teens. They really enjoy making their cats and exploring the desert. I've made some item cards for this game that I'd be happy to email along if somebody wanted them.There's about nine cards.
